The Mesozoic Era is divided into three different periods. This activity focuses only on the last and longest period when dinosaurs existed, the Cretaceous period. In this activity, kiddos will have fun reading independently or with educators to learn about dinos and then answer questions based on what they’ve learned. The encyclopedia is beautifully colored and broken into sections, making it easier for even younger children to locate answers quickly. The Dino Dana: Dino Field Guide is full of pictures and facts about dinosaurs that are fun for all!

They will also have a blast searching for three dinos that existed during the Cretaceous period and choosing their favorite!

Each vibrantly colored worksheet has four questions in section A and a place to write the names of three dinos in section B.
