Dive into dinosaurs with this Mesozoic Era: Dinos Beginning & End activity! This activity is to be used with the books: My Encyclopedia of Very Important Dinosaurs and Dino Dana: Dino Field Guide, Volume 1. You will find links to the texts below.
The Mesozoic Era lasted from 245-66 million years ago. This activity encompasses the entire age of dinosaurs, beginning to end. But don’t worry; your kiddos won’t be exhausted when they finish. It is short and to the point, as with all activities within the Mesozoic Era Unit Study.
This activity encourages kiddos to have fun reading independently or with educators to learn about dinos and then answer questions based on what they’ve learned. The encyclopedia is beautifully colored and broken into sections, making it easier for even younger children to locate answers quickly. The Dino Dana: Dino Field Guide is full of pictures and facts about dinosaurs that are fun for all!
Each vibrantly colored worksheet is limited to seven easy questions so the activity can be completed quickly.
*These activities work well for kids aged 5-12 years old.
